"What struggles have you faced along your journey of being a singer?"

"It's not easy to conduct a career in music especially as a singer, but I think my mom instilled in me at a very young age the idea that you can have what you want and if you allow yourself to be vulnerable enough to find it, then you will be happy and satisfied. Somehow I haven't had many struggles in the arts, perhaps the biggest struggle has been getting past myself which is a struggle for most artists, but I luckily haven't had to work in industry's outside of the arts, so I have always been in music to some extent. I have been very grateful to be able to do that as it has kept me very focused.

"We're there times where you felt like giving up?"

I have felt like giving up a bunch of times, I felt like giving up after I finished The Voice because after I was done I lost half my follower account, I didn't have as much engagement and you don't leave with much guidance from these things. I was so grateful to have done The Voice, I would recommend it to anybody and it was a good time for me and helped me find my voice. I think as fast paced as everything was, I didn't have time to be the perfectionist like I always have been and that got me a lot closer to who I am as a singer. I think its necessary to have some dips because it reminds you why you love it so much in the first place and how much of a passion you have for it.
