What was your childhood dream?
"My dream growing up was really just to be a singer, I think as a child I fell in love with singing and vocals and just hearing people sing. Then slowly but surely it moved to songwriting, because I felt like I needed something to sing and I was tired of singing everyone else's songs. Then after songwriting it transitioned to an artist where I wanted my music to impact the world."
Do you have anyone that inspired you or really influenced you?
"I think when I was younger people who stick out to me just watching on tv is of course Usher, seeing him perform and entertain it was an aha moment, I want to do something like that. Now musically Prince inspires me a lot, Marvin Gaye and Avant. I remember as a kid Avant was one of the top male singers and his tone of how he commanded a microphone was just really great and inspired me."
