Let's begin!STEP 01: OPEN IMAGE IN PHOTOSHOP
You can either drag and drop your image in Photoshop, or you can go to File > Open and select the image you want to edit. In this example, I clicked the image in my Recent files.
STEP 02: USE LASSO TOOL TO SELECT OBJECT YOU WANT TO REMOVE
After the Lasso tool is selected, use your cursor to draw around the object you want to remove from the photo. It doesn’t have to be perfect! Once you’ve drawn a circle around the object, it will select the object as you can see in the 2nd photo.
STEP 03: USE CONTENT-AWARE FILL TO REMOVE OBJECT
In the Edit menu, select “Content-Aware Fill...” to remove the desired object and use the brush tool on the left panel to delete (green) areas of the wood floor until you’re happy with the image.
STEP 04: DESELECT THE LASSO TOOL (CMD + ‘D’)
After clicking ‘Okay’, Photoshop will bring you back to your original project file with the removed object still selected; to deselect, simply hold ‘cmd’ + ‘d’ to remove the moving dotted lines (aka marching ants!).
STEP 06: SAVE YOUR WORK!
Go to File > Export > Quick Export as PNG and save it as a .png to your computer.
